Michael White is the Chief Executive Officer of Inclusive NZ and is based in our Wellington office. Michael came on board in November 2017 and has been working hard to transform the organisation’s strategic goals into reality. Michael’s background is in law and throughout his career has worked in private practice, for the New Zealand Government, as well as international organisations. His most recent position was working as a Senior Legal Adviser at The New Zealand Human Rights Commission.
He has also held roles on Boards for a number of Not for Profit organisations, as well as worked on international projects where the objective was capability building in relation to human rights. In addition, Michael is an experienced trainer and facilitator, and his research on international law and human rights law and practice has been widely published.
On a more personal note Michael is married to Julia and is the proud father of two children. In his downtime, Michael enjoys travelling, surfing, playing tennis and spending time with his family.
